Teaching materials from Syracuse University
This rubric was developed as a group effort by myself and two other Sociology 101 TAs to maintain consistent grading across sections.
I have included all of my Soc 101 lesson plans in my portfolio to demonstrate the diversity of activities I have developed and utilized to facilitate discussion. I have included my syllabus for those sections.
I have attached my lecture notes and a recording of my guest lecture on Images and Power.

These student information sheets help me learn about students and give them a space to share privately any potential classroom needs, as well as their name and pronouns.
This is the form that I begin from to solicit mid-semester feedback, reminding students that they have a say in their learning.
During my TA orientation, we were asked to record a mini lecture to gather peer feedback and so that we could watch ourselves teach. This was a useful learning tool
